The maintenance of the existing volume determined the need to reinforce the first floor slab and the insertion of a new second floor slab in the very high space first occupied by the stall. The big openings that usually characterized the stall and the Farmhouse in the hilly landscape are preserved and closed with large

windows; the halfway slab is moved back to keep the slenderness of the elements unchanged. Wherever possible, especially in the ground floor, the existing vaults were preserved or refitted.
